
| Quarterbacks Austin Anglea QB 6-1 210 Speedway # 5 Led Speedway to another outstanding season by completing 114 passes on 219 attempts for 2415 yards and 25 tds. As a sophomore he threw for 2384 yards and 22 tds. Also a standout basketball player for the Sparkplugs. Also was the first team all state punter. Plays in a versatile offense including the spread. Austin is an excellent decision maker and had a great ability to read defenses. Chase Burton QB Cordyon Central 6-2 195 # 19 Aaron Daniels QB Charlestown Max Disman QB/WR/S 6-5 185 New Palestine # 12 A really versatile athlete who can and has played a number of positions on the football field. Last season he played mostly receiver. Max as a receiver does a great job of getting open and going up and getting jump balls. The limited film I saw of him at QB he shows great feet and good scrambling ability and a nice touch on the ball. Parker Dunshee QB 6-1 191 Zionsville # 10 Completed 81 of 169 passes for 1175 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. Is a good decision maker who knows how to read defenses. A three sport athlete who participates in baseball and basketball as well. Baseball might be his best sport. Don’t overlook him as a QB recruit though. Danny Etling QB 6-3 210 TH South # 8 In the film I saw of Danny I saw I very quick release and ability to make excellent decisions. Has the arm strength to make any throw. Playing in the states toughest conference his stats were not overwhelming but yet he threw for 1537 yards and 9 touchdowns on 104 completions and 193 attempts. Danny is also a member the TH South basketball team. VERBAL to PURDUE Mitch Gilles QB 6-2 205 Castle # 12 Honor roll student who has helped lead a revival at Castle. Last season he threw for 3099 yards and 33 tds with 11 interceptions on 170 completions and 267 attempts. Honor roll student who also is a baseball standout. Has great accuracy on deep balls. Is very elusive in the pocket. Has a great ability to read defenses. Will contend for top QB in Indiana. Matt Hunt QB 6-0 175 Heritage Christian # 10 Put up great numbers in a big time spread offense. Matt has a very quick release and throws a very accurate deep ball. Last season he threw for 2332 yards and 27 touchdowns. Matt is also a standout baseball player. Dane Hurley QB 5-11 172 Evansville Memorial # 8 A talented and productive quarterback. Missed a lot of his junior season with an injury. As a sophomore put up some great numbers in throwing for 2107 yards and 17 touchdowns. Dane is very elusive in the pocket who is very accurate in his passes. Also plays safety on defense. C.J. Jackson QB 6-0 160 FW North Lefty who had a big part in helping FW North to a big season. Jackson lead the Redskins to regular season wins over Snider and Dwenger plays in a spread offense where he carried the ball 108 times for 723 yards and completed 93-200 passes. Right now more athlete than quarterback but none the less a real winner. Austin Karazsia QB 6-7 215 Linton #15 Standout quarterback in class 1A Make no mistake about though is a big time talent. . Last season Austin completed 244 passes on 361 attempts for an amazing 3467 yards and 43 tds with just 13 interceptions. Helped Linton one game away from a state title appearance. Also a standout basketball player where he averages over 23 points per game. Also a sprinter on the Miners track team. Delmario Lasley QB 6-2 200 Indianapolis Northwest # 15 Great athlete who runs out of the pistol formation at Northwest. # 15 is equally adapt at throwing the ball or running it. When passing the ball he shows a real quick release and a quick decision maker. Delamario is elusive in the pocket to take off and gain big yards. Last season he completed 147 of 273 passes for 2097 yards and 14 tds. He also ran for 492 yards on 84 carries. He is also on the basketball and track teams at Northwest. Ryan McKibbin QB 6-3 201 Concord # 10 Big strong athletic QB at Concord. Took over at the end of sophomore season. A strong armed QB with the athletic ability to run over or past people. Also plays some defense at safety. A high honor roll student. Antonio Pipkin QB 6-3 185 Bowman May not be well known by recruiters yet. Has the strongest arm of any QB in this class. Has a real quick release and throws a great deep ball. Last season he threw for 2347 yards and 24 tds after throwing for 983 yards and 11 touchdowns. Also a member of the basketball, track and baseball teams at Bowman. Jake Raspopovich QB 6-1 160 Merrillville # 9 The youngest of three brothers at Merrillville. Moved over to QB after starting at receiver as a sophomore. Jake is very intelligent QB with great accuracy a feel for the game. Last season Jake completed 173 passes on 292 attempts for 2057 yards while also rushing for 557 yards. Jake is also a standout basketball point guard. VERBAL to TEXAS PAN AMERICAN for Basketball Connor Rice QB 6-3 195 Cathedral # 12 Much like Connor Barthel and Corey Babb before him, Connor has had to wait his turn to run the vaunted Irish offense. Both those guys had monster senior seasons in leading the Irish to state titles and Connor is capable of duplicating that as well. The lefty filled in one game last season and threw for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns. Connor has also wrestled and played baseball at Cathedral. Brandon Rooze QB 6-3 160 Benton Central # 10 Talented gunslinger who had helped Benton Central turn it around. Threw for 2484 yards on 181 completions with 24 touchdowns last season. Brandon has a good arm and seems to make great decisions in watching him on tape. He is also a standout baseball pitcher for the Bison. Sam Schrader QB 5-11 175 Mishawaka # 11 Already a two year starter at quarterback in the Caveman wing t offense. In the rushing attack Sam rushed for over 1300 yards last season. Does a great job in reading defenses. Sam is also a basketball and baseball player. An honor rill student. May be best suited to play defense in college. Connor Sheehan QB 6-2 185 Heritage Tyler Slagel QB 6-4 185 Goshen # 15 Strong armed QB who completed 47 passes for 461 yards last season. Tyler is also a pitcher and outfielder on the Redskins baseball team. Tino Smith QB 6-1 195 Guerin Catholic # 6 A sleeper I knew little about. Once I turned on tape I watched over and over. Plays in spread offense. Has the quickest release of any class of 2013 QB. Has great feet and not afraid to take off and run. Completed 182 passes on 307 attempts for 2747 yards and 30 touchdowns. Lorrell Williams QB/LB/WR 6-3 225 Bloomington North # 7 If there is ever a kid to simply put into athlete position Lorrell is it. A really fun athlete to watch. Played QB in the spread last season and is simply a play maker. Last season he completed 50 of 105 passes for 520 yards, rushed for 552 yards on 129 carries and also caught 7 passes for 66 yards. For good measure he also returns kicks. Lorrell also is plays basketball. Curtis Wilson QB Anderson # 12 Lefty who plays in a spread offense. Curtis has a quick release and is equally adapt at running or throwing. Curtis has ability to read defenses and throws a tight spiral. Curtis is also a member of the Anderson baseball team. Matt Wray QB 6-2 180 Indian Creek # 11 A lefty with a quick release and ability to read defenses. Matt put great numbers in Indian Creeks wide open offense. Last season he threw for 2675 yards on 220 completions and 22 touchdowns. Matt is also basketball player at Indian Creek. David Yancey ATH 5-10 190 Lake Central # 14 Led a resurgence at Lake Central at this once proud powerhouse. David moved to quarterback out of necessity and led the Indians to a 8-2 record. Last season at quarterback he was a threat to take it to the house at any time. Started at free safety as a sophomore. His best position at the next level though may be a running back where he is a quick explosive back who runs with authority. David stood out at the National Combine in San Antonio. Look for bug offers to start flying in. VERBAL TO PURDUE Running Backs Tanner Adams RB 5-11 185 Jimtown # 28 Honorable Mention All State selection last season. Tanner put up big numbers combing with Devan Emerson to lead the Jimmies backfield. Emerson is more lightning while Tanner is more Thunder. Tanner does a great job of staying low to the ground and is sneaky fast. Tanner is also an all state wrestler. Duhwan Alford RB 6-2 230 Concord # 5 A big spark on a potent Concord offense. This big back has great vision who is powerful in the open the field but also has the burst to out run defenders to the end zone. Duhwan is also a double digit scorer on the Concord basketball team. Should be one of the state highest recruited running backs VERBAL to EASTERN MICHIGAN Riley Arvanitis RB 6-0 220 Lake Central A versatile back for Lake Central. Last season he played fullback, tailback and one back for the Indians. As a lead blocker he absolutely devastating in knocking defenders off course. With the football looks to run people flat over. # 40 does a great job at staying low and winning the battle with strength. Is weight room fanatic who should garner more carries and bigger stats this season. Tim Barrett RB/DB Muncie Central # 21 Versatile three sport athlete who moved across town from Muncie South. Last season playing running back and receiver he rushed for 276 yards and caught 20 passes for 240 yards. He really stood out on defense where he amassed 84 tackles. Is a member of the baseball and basketball teams at Muncie Central. Shaquille Breeding RB 5-8 173 Warren Central # 1 On 99 percent of the teams in Indiana Shaquille would be entering his third year as a starter. In part time duty last season backing up Deionte Buckley (a Cincinnati recruit) he rushed for 765 yards on just 113 carries. He is also an outstanding kick return who stays North and South. He shows a rare explosiveness combined with excellent vision. Rashaan Coleman RB 5-10 185 Portage # 21 Talented running back who moved to quarterback last season out necessity. Hard runner who has great vision and balance. Completed 45 passes for 121 attempts for 726 yards and 7 tds while rushing for 446 yards. Started his career at McCutcheon HS where he started as a freshman, before he moved to Portage with his dad Earl a former Purdue running back. Rashaan is also a basketball player and member of the track team. Cody Coll RB 5-11 190 Tri West # 32 Cody is a hard runner who would rather run through you than around you. Had 174 carries for 1178 yards and 19 tds last season. He also caught 16 passes for 131 yards. Is also a sprinter on the Bruins track team. Don’t overlook due to him playing at a small school. Dylon Collins RB 5-10 188 Merrillville # 4 Dylon played in just four games last season after being declared eligible after a transfer from Bowman Academy. He made the most of those four games rushing for 487 yards on just 54 carries. This was after a sophomore season at Bowman where he rushed for 1066 yards on 123 carries. Dylon is powerfully built runner who had great balance and a nose for the end zone. He is also a member of the basketball and track teams at Merrillville. Luke Cureton FB 6-1 210 Cathedral # 38 On a lot of teams this young man would be the STAR. At Cathedral Luke has done a little bit of everything for the Irish. Playing mostly fullback last season he rushed for 342 yards on just 32 carries. WOW over 10 yards per carry at fullback. In the Semi State game vs Columbus East he broke two long touchdowns to put the game out of reach. Luke is also a great baseball outfielder and major league prospect who has started on back to back state runner up baseball squads. Devan Emerson 5-11 170 RB Jimtown # 1 An underrated RB in North Central Indiana. Devan is back with excellent vision who explodes through the hole. Last season he had 169 carries for 1530 yards and 14 tds. Also is on the baseball team. David Garrett RB Evansville Gino Gillum RB 5-8 170 Cathedral # 22 The hardest thing for a recruiter to do is measure a kids heart. This kid would off the chart if you could. Has helped lead Cathedral to two straight state titles. Gino is an explosive back who has great vision and balance and toughness to reach the end zone. If you don’t think he is fast enough watch the Snider game and ask their defense. Last season he rushed for 1409 yards and 23 touchdowns on 244 carries. His dad Mike was a standout at Roncalli and later at the University of Indianapolis. Jamonte Hampton RB 5-10 180 Broad Ripple # 4 Talented speedy elusive back playing for Broad Ripple. Jamonte also plays Cb for the Rockets. Last season he carries the ball 97 times for 517 yards while also catching 11 passes for 174 yards. Aaron Harris RB 5-10 180 Whiteland # 37 A speedy productive running back who is more quick than fast. HE also starts on defense and is one the track team. Ran for over 1200 yards last season. Kendall Huff RB 5-10 175 Hammond Morton # 22 A speedster who will be over looked due to missing a good portion of his junior year due to injury. I n limited time last season he rushed for 209 yards on 34 carries and caught 6 passes for 98 yards. Kendall has excellent vision and a burst through the line and into open field. One to watch. Andrew Kittridge RB 6-1 220 Valparaiso # 34 A big bruising back for the Vikings. Is capable of playing either fullback or running back at the next level. Most look at him a plow ahead back, I suggest otherwise as he shows a great knack for dodging tacklers as he is more quick than fast. In two season he has rushed for 1971 yards and 21 touchdowns whole also catching 47 passes for 506 yards. Andrew is also a basketball player at Valparaiso. Anthony Linnear RB5-9 185 FW North # 32 Outstanding two performer for the Redksins. Played both RB and OLB. Anthony is extremely powerful and quick when carrying the ball. On defense he showed his ability by compiling 11 sacks blitzing opposing quarterbacks. On offense he carries the ball 150 times for 953 yards. Anthony is also a standout wrestler. McKenzee Nash RB 5-9 170 Muncie South # 28 McKenzee is a gifted RB who is coming off a rough junior year in which he injured his knee and only played four games. He is a shifty back who has a great knack for breaking tackles. Also lines up in the slot where he is a more than capable receiver. Nash has also played as a cover corner on defense. Showed great promise as a sophomore when he rushed for 1412 yards. The best part is he gets it done in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. Trey Parson RB Washington RB/DB 6-0 170 # 20 Ryan Ripp RB Hamilton SE 6-1 205 # 34 Standout back for 5A power. Will be a three year starter at both running back and linebacker. Is a near 4.0 student. Can bench 260 pounds and squat 430 lbs. Has 2413 yards rushing and 34 touchdowns in his career. Brother was a standout at HSE and at the University of Indianapolis. Ryan has deceiving speed and quickness. Derrick Sorenson RB 5-8 175 Wawasee Hard runner who put up good numbers at Wawasee. Ran for 643 yards on 124 carries last season. Derrick is also a punter. David Tarver 5-8 180 RB Scecina # 23 Another talented RB out of Marion County. In his first season playing High School Football helped lead the Crusaders to the state title game. David is a stocky speedy back who has a great combinations of power and speed. Also plays basketball. Last season he carries the ball 180 times for 1612 yards and 19 tds Joe Troop RB 6-1 175 Chesterton A versatile athlete who can play anywhere on the field. The shifty running back carries the ball 113 times for 658 yards also had 23 receptions for 425 yards. Joe is also a track standout at Chesterton. KeAndre Vaughn RB 5-8 185 Evansville Reitz # 28 Yet another speedy back from Evansville. KeAndre is a solidly built back with great explosion in running between the tackles. He shows a great burst to get up field and into the end zone. Rushed for 1607 yards on 229 carries last season. Is also a sprinter on the track team. Bryndon Williams RB/LB 6-1 195 FW Concordia # 5 Bryndon was considered Fort Wayne’s top 2013 back until tearing his ACL and missing most of last season. Bryndon is a shifty back who has enough quickness to run by anybody. As a sophomore he ran for 605 yards on 117 carries. Wide Receivers Jon Marc Anderson WR 5-10 165 Castle # 13 Speedy receiver that is part of an explosive passing game at Castle. The speedy wideout caught 48 passes for 1104 yards and 11 tds last season. He is also on the tennis team at Castle. Josh Coston WR 6-3 185 McCutcheon # 3 Tall lanky receiver who just seems to make play after play. Josh is not a blazer but is quick enough to create good separation form defenders. He has great hands and runs great routes. He is also a basketball player and a member of the track team. Had 20 catches for 286 yards as a sophomore. Aaron Dye WR 5-10 152 Merrillville # 80 Speedy and shifty receiver at Merrillville. Aaron had a big junior year catching 45 passes for 680 yards and 7 touchdowns. Saw the Warren Central game and Aaron played toe to toe with all the D1 Warren defenders. Deris Duncan WR Noblesville 6-3 185 #82 Playing for former Warren Central and Purdue WR Lance Scheib, Deris has a great mentor to make it big. On film he shows great route running skills, deceptive speed and a great ability to go up and catch the ball with his hands. Is also a high scorer for the Millers basketball team. Deris has a 3.5 GPA. He caught 18 passes for 202 yards last season playing in just five games. Chase Dutra WR/RB/DB 6-2 195 Brownsburg # 19 A jack of all trades for Coach Brett Comer at Brownsburg. Played running back, receiver and defensive back for the Bulldogs. I was particularly impressed with his return skills where he gets upfield quickly and has great open field vision. Also a standout basketball player. Ja’len Edwards WR 5-10 150 Avon # 2 A big play maker for the Orioles who can take it to the “house” at anytime. Last season he caught 237 passes for 554 yards and 5 touchdowns. Jalen is also a standout in basketball and track. Joe Fagan WR/FS 6-4 202 Chatard # 29 A talented wideout who is more known for his exploits on the basketball floor. In his first season playing football he helped lead Chatard to yet another state title. Last season he caught 17 passes for 346 yards and on defense had 69 tackles and 5 interceptions. Joe averages over 20 ppg as a shooting guard and has a hoop offer from Duquesne and plenty of other D1 interest. If he decides football is his route recruiters should surely take a long look. Isaac Griffith WR 6-0 180 Homestead # 15 A kid whose film was hard to turn off. Is a more quick than fast route runner. Has a great nose for the end zone. Seems to have a magical ability to hold off would be tacklers. Has run a 4.5 forty at camps as well as benches 205. A play maker in the truest sense of the word. VERBAL TO INDIANA Sampson Levingston WR Cathedral #18 Emerged as a go to threat on the Class 4A state champions. Does a great job of creating separation from defenders as well as understanding the passing game. Is another in a long line of what I consider the best blocking receivers in the state at Cathedral. Chad Middleton WR 6-1 195 Plainfield # 11 A underrated receiver/athlete who just makes play after play. Last season Chad caught 34 passes for 581 yards and 3 touchdowns. He made his biggest mark on special teams where he returned 3 kickoffs for scores. Also plays OLB. On film he does a great job of running precise routes and makes a couple of head first catches showing his great hands. Chad is a also a standout baseball player. Tim Mills WR 5-10 150 Laf CC # 5 Part of the dynamic duo with Purdue recruit Danny Anthrop at receiver for the Knights. Tim is a speedy receiver who does a great job of creating separation and fighting for the jump ball. Last season he had 28 receptions for 671 yards and 7 tds. John Naumcheff WR 6-4185 Zionsville #2 Record setting receiver for Zionsville. Long lanky and athletics who is quick off the line and does a great job of catching the ball with his hands. Last season he caught 61 passes for 819 yards and 13 tds. John is also a member of the Eagles basketball squad. Nick Neidig WR/P/K/DB 6-4 195 North Posey # 16 A big play wide receiver for North Posey. # 16 always seems to make the big play. As a junior he caught 37 passes for 602 yards and 9 tds. On defense he had 39 tackles. His biggest strength may be his punting where he averaged 35 yards per punt last season. Also on the basketball and track teams at Norht Posey. Cameron Parus WR 6-3 185 Castle # 82 Long and lanky receiver who has if not the best certainly close to the best hands in the state. Watching his film he consistently made catch after catch. His junior numbers were incredible with 52 receptions for 1117 yards and 16 touchdowns. Has a 3.6 GPA and also in the Knights Basketball team. Zach Plesac WR 6-1 175 Crown Point # 8 Zach returned to the gridiron last season and made s huge splash for the Bulldogs. Zach made tough catch after tough catch. He is not a blazer but always seems to create separation from defenders. Last season he caught 25 passes for 274 yards and 7 touchdowns. Zach is also a top college prospect in baseball as an infielder where he teams up with his twin brother Ron. He also averages double figures for the Bulldog basketball team. The nephew of former MLB Dan Plesac. Joe Redburn WR 5-10 181 Castle # 85 Part of dynamic receiving trio returning for Castle. Joe will once again have Mitch Gilles firing balls to him like last season where he caught 36 passes for 533 yards and 4 touchdowns. Joe is simply a play maker for the Knights. Joe is also a standout shortstop in baseball. Braxton Rice WR 6-6 170 Crown Point # 18 Long lanky receiver who is quick off the lines and does a great job a running routes. Watching Braxton dunk a basketball shows his overall athletic ability. Last season he had 17 receptions for 307 yards. Marq Rogers WR 6-4 170 FW Concordia # 2 Highly productive receiver who teams with Brydon Williams to give the Cadets plenty of offensive firepower. The lanky receiver caught 25 passes last season for 289 yards. He also starts at free safety for Concordia. Marq is also a standout in basketball. Michael Rogers 6-1 185 WR FW Luers # 1 The states’ top receiver prospect. Helped lead Luers to yet another state championship. Last season he caught 48 passes for 1030 yards and 17 touchdowns. He now holds the Luers career touchdown receiving mark with 24. Michael is a blazing fast receiver who is quick off the line and does a great job of catching the ball with his hands. VERBAL to BOWLING GREEN Wesley Thomas WR 6-0 180 SB Clay # 15 On tape Wesley is an absolute play maker who always seems to come down with the ball. He runs precise routes and does a great job of catching the ball with his hands. Was recently offered by Central Michigan. Anthony Warrum WR 6-1 175 Heritage Christian # 22 Colleges you looking for a bigger version of Wes Welker this is your guy. Anthony is a blast to watch on film. He run great routes and has a great knack for creating separation for a defender. Tough as nails. Last season he had 71 receptions for 1268 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also had 40 tackles on defense and is the teams punter. He is also on the baseball team. Timed at reliable combines at a 4.6 forty. Tight Ends Calvin Blank TE 6-4 225 TH North # 86 A two sport standout at TH North. Put himself on the map of recruiters by his play at both TE and DE. On offense he did a great job a getting open and making the tough catch in traffic while also breaking tackles. On defense he shows great footwork and strength in getting to QBs or chasing down RB’s. Calvin had 30 receptions for 348 yards last season. Already holds offers from the Hometown Indiana State Sycamore as well as Toledo. VERBAL TO BALL STATE Alex Coty TE/DL SB Clay 6-5 260 # 81 Alex is a prospect who could project at a number of positions. Playing TE for the Colonials he does a great job of getting open and running people over after the catch. On film he outran some people. He had 20 receptions for 226 yards and 4 tds last season and blocked at a 93% clip. He could also project to play on the OL or DL. He is also a fire balling pitcher for the baseball team. VERBAL to CENTRAL MICHIGAN A.J. Crowell TE 6-3 200 Evansville Central # 84 Addison Dellinger TE 6-4 220 FW Snider Evan Faunce TE 6-4 210 Warren Central # 81 Moved in last season with his brother Kyle, who was the Warriors starting QB. Evan is a talent as both TE and DE for the Warriors. With all the talent last season he had to wait for this upcoming season. VERBAL TO WESTERN MICHIGAN Franko House TE 6-5 225 Concord # 36 Franko is the states’ best two sport standout. In football he is a standout tight end with great footwork who is mismatch against any defender. On defense he lines up at end where he is shows elite speed in pursuing quarterbacks. Franko is a forward in basketball who already has offers from Western Michigan, Evansville, IUPUI and IPFW for that sport. If he sticks to football he should have the entire big them offer list. Reminds me a lot of former Cathedral and Butler standout Rylan Hainje who chose basketball over football. Travis Nethercutt TE 6-3 210Penn # 82 Saw him on tape vs Valparaiso, in that game I saw him run down field in a mismatch with a linebacker for a long touchdown reception. He is also is a great run blocker for the Kingsmen. Alec Showalter TE 6-3 210 Hamilton SE #82 Nate Wozniak TE 6-9 245 Center Grove #85 Former Basketball player who unlike many in Indiana sees a brighter future on the gridiron. Really came into his own last season as a huge down field receiving threat. Does a great job of going up for the football and catching it with his hands. Showed better than expected run blocking capability as he helped lead Center Grove one game away from a state title appearance losing to eventual champion Carmel. His best football will be at the college level. Had 19 receptions for 232 yards last season. One to watch. Offensive Linemen Chase Alexander OL 6-3 280 Avon # 77 One of the states’ top center prospects. Chase played with 3 other D1 prospects last season and helped Avon put huge offensive numbers up. He does a great job with his shot gun snaps. He is quick off the release and staying low against opposing DT’s. Blake Bowers OL FW Dwenger Jacob Brinegar OL 6-3 270 Bloomington South # 73 Dwayne Brown OL 6-5 330 Warren Central #79 Transferred in at the beginning of last season where he quickly became accustomed to the Warren winning tradition. Started all of last season where he starter at left tackle on a line with 2 other D1 recruits. Has a great combination of size, strength and quickness. Should have Big Ten offers on table already. Ethan Brown OL 6-4 255 Columbus North # 59 On film # 59 looks taller than his listed 6’4. Ethan shows excellent feet and has great technique. After a few years in college you could surely this this kid weighing over 300 pounds. I believe one of the top tier of OL in Indiana Keegan Bruner OL 6-2 290 Warsaw # 78 Keegan is a tough mauler who does great job of maintaining his gap on defense. He also plays OG where he does a great job of staying low and driving defenders off the ball. Right now he looks like a great athlete just learning the game. I am not sure if I like him on offense or defense better. On offense he would make a great pulling guard, while on defense he would be a perfect fit at end in a 304 defense. Russell is really athletic and could really blossom in college. Was a huge part in North beating both Snider and Dwenger this past season. Jackson Day OL 6-5 275 Penn # 72 From the same High School as former NFl standout Mike Rosenthal and current Notre Dame center Braxston Cave. Jackson is built along those same lines. I did not see until the state championship game but came away very impressed despite a tough blowout loss. Plays LT tackle and seems to have great balance along with great natural strength. He should move up higher among national scouts. VERBAL to WESTERN MICHIGAN Dustin Dennig OL 6-5 317 SB Washington # 57 It is rare to find a pure center prospect in football, but here is your guy. Dustin is a high motor center who does a great job at shotgun snapping and has great natural strength and foot speed to be able to get to the next level. Helped lead Washington to the state championship game. A definite D1 prospect. Joe Doyle OL 6-6 265 Chatard #74 In my mind the most underrated recruit to date in Indiana. Started alongside Louisville Recruit Sid Anvoots along the Trojan front line. Joe shows a lot of versatility with his size and footwork to play anywhere on the offensive line. Had great pad level and bend his knee extremely well. Look for him to have high offers SOON!!! Reed Dugan OL/DE 6-4 250 Evansville Harrison # 66/85 Not sure how I stumbled upon his tape, but glad I did. Started the season at tight end but move to right tackle during the season. Reed shows a really quick first step and ability to drive defenders down field. Bench presses 350 pounds. A real sleeper. Tim Gardner OL 6-5 315 Lawrence Central #74 A standout at left tackle for one of states emerging programs. Started as a sophomore when LC finished as state runner up. Tim Has great footwork and great hips for someone his size. Does a great job at excelarating to the next level. Has offers from Purdue, Notre Dame, Indiana and Wisconsin and should have many more coming. VERBAL to OHIO STATE A.J. A true tough guys on both offense and defense. Jesse is great on defense in run support and maintain his gap. Offensively he has great natural strength but is quick enough to pull or trap. He is also a standout heavyweight wrestler. Ruben Holcom OL 6-5 310 FW Snider #76 A massive left tackle who has started for 2 years as the Panthers advanced one game short of the state championship. Holcom is strong as an ox and keep his legs churning. Once engaged it is over for defenders. Does a good job in pass blocking with great footwork. Should be getting more recruiting exposure but should be a top notch Big Ten type recruit. Fred Hopkins 6-5 349 OL Tech # 79 Before watching the tape the only thing I knew about “big” Fred was the story on how big his feet are. Watching him on tape vs Cathedral he drove a DE 25 yards downfield. Fred shows surprising quickness and has a great natural strength. Brishaun Horne OL 6-7 255 Evansville Reitz # 77 Raw but improving offensive and defensive lineman. Saw limited film mostly on defense where I saw quick feet fopr a big guy and pursued the ball until the whistle. Also plays tackles on offense. Last season he had 21 tackles 4 sacks and 2 tackles for loss. With his size keep an eye out on this young man. Corey Jefferson OL 6-4 280 East Chicago # 72 Has already started for three years at left tackle for the Cardinals. Corey has good natural strength and shows great feet and change of direction is pass protection. Recently transferred to Ben Davis. Jarrell Jenkins OL 6-3 281 Tech #75 Another member of what may be the biggest line in the state. Watching Jarrell on tape I noticed he moves very well for his size and has great balance. He played both guard and tackle and could be any of those at the next level. T.J. Kilbourne OL 6-3 260 Decatur Central # 68 Skylar Lacy OL 6-8 300 Center Grove # 57 Some may consider him a project but you can’t teach this young mans size. Recently transferred from Southport to Center Grove. Watching film he steadily improved throughout the season. Has good natural strength and decent footwork for a player his size. Also plays basketball which should help his footwork. VERBAL to LOUISVILLE Ryan Lawrence OL 6-3 266 Ben Davis # 67 Tyler Malone DL 6-5 260 Franklin Central # 72 One of my top 3 or 4 lineman in this class. Tyler is one of the few who I would consider on either side of scrimmage. I love this mans intensity and ability to dominate a game. Should be ranked much higher. Plays LT on offense where he shows good feet and great leverage. On defense he played DE where he refuses to be beat and always around the ball. Tyler is also an accomplished long snapper and is also the center on the Flashes basketball team. He is is also an honor roll student. Jason McBride OL 6-3 300 Pike #65 Plays for D1 producing machine in Pike HS. Jason is a extremely quick OG who shows great initial burst and an inate ability to stay locked on to defenders. Dan Samuelson OL 6-5 280 Plymouth # 74 A pillar on the Rockies big strong offensive line. Shows great strength and technique in both pass and run blocking. Dan has shown great pad level on tape and keeps his legs churning when driving defenders to the ground. Dan is also a standout in the classroom boasting a 3.5 GPA. A sure fire D1 recruit. Has a great first step and is strong enough to over power blockers. Brother Armonze plays at Marshall and older brother played at Georgia. Originally from Alabama and has garnered offers from SEC school Alabama, Florida, Tennessee as well as Notre Dame and pretty much the entire big ten. Offers are from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida, Indiana, Purdue and Iowa. VERBAL to CLEMSON Christian Johnson DL Scecina David Kenney DE 6’3 255 Pike #9 A standout season in his first year at Pike. Spent his first two seasons at Cathedral where he started on a state championship team as a sophomore. Kenney has a great first step and phenomenal closing speed. Will he be big enough to play DT at the next level or quick enough o play DE. The answer is s definite YES to either. David has offers from Iowa, Purdue, Indiana, Iowa State and Minnesota among others VERBAL to IOWA Darius Latham DT 6-5 275 North Central # 78, 99 Darius is from the same high school as NBA standout Eric Gordon. Like Gordon, Darius is also a standout on the hard court for the Panthers. What makes Darius special is his talents on the football field. Playing in the states toughest football conference Darius has dominated at his defensive line position. He has a great first step and is a ferocious tackler. Is tough enough to play inside as run stopper while also lines up outside to use his speed to get to the quarterback. Late last season also saw time on the offensive line where he could be a great pulling guard at the next level. Once he starts fully concentrating on football should really blossom. Darius has a 3.0 GPA. In basketball he averages a double-double for the powerhouse Panther basketball squad. He should be a top 5 recruit in Indiana and one of the Midwest top talents. Has offers from Indiana and Missouri and many more should follow. VERBAL to WISCONSIN William Lee 6-2 274 DE Tech # 90 Cat quick defensive lineman who really came into his own last season. Played both DT and DE for the Titans. I was really impressed with him watching the film vs Warren Central where he showed elite quickness. May be suited for 3-4 DE position. A real talent. VERBAL to BALL STATE Josh Lytle 6-3 265 OL/DL Pioneer # 72 A weight room fanatic for small school powerhouse Pioneer. Has helped lead the Panthers to great seasons in which their only losses were to state champion Lafayette CC. On defense he shows a high motor and an excellent base. On offense he shows great pad level and balance. Cody Moesner 6-3 285 DL Southridge # 68 High motor kid playing for a small school. Plays with a lot of heart and energy. Cody is also a member of the basketball team at Southridge. Weston Painter DL 6-3 275 FW Snider # 99 One of the highest motor guys in this class. Is the rarest of four year starters at legendary Snider HS. Weston tore his ACL his fourth game of sophomore year. Came back last season and helped lead the Panthers to the Semi-State. On tape is a ferocious nonstop defender whose motor who goes until the whistle. VERBAL to INDIANA STATE D.J. Perdue DL 6-1 275 Brebeuf # 55/27 Most of the film I watched was his junior film of playing fullback. I could hardly believe my eyes. His footwork and explosion for a guy his size was incredible. Last season he moved to offensive and defensive line. On defense he has a super quick feet. He had 38 tackles and 6 tackles for loss last season. Should get some Big Ten type looks. Ben Polk DE 6-4 225 Evansville Mater Dei # 60 Helped lead Mater Dei to yet another appearance in the state championship game. Ben is extremely high motor DE who has GREAT closing speed. Last season he had 74 tackles, 24 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. This kid is definite D1 material. Drew Ponder DL 6-3 260 Center Grove # 68 A tough guy who does a great job of occupying space as a run stopping DT. His Wrestling background helps him gain a low base and win one on one battles in the trenches. Drew had 10 tackles for a loss last season playing in the state top conference. Bama Powell DL Guerin Catholic Deshai Powell DE 6-2 230 Lawrence Central # 91 I was watching film on another player when I kept getting stuck on # 91. Deshai is fierce pass rusher who does a great job of taking on blocks. I believe he has the frame to grow into an elite DL at the next level. Ethan Runnebohm DL 6-3 240 Shelbyville # 90 I have to be honest with you was one of the few kids who I was unable to track film down on. From all reports Ethan is relentless defender who plays hard and spends a ton of time in the weight room. Last season he had 79 tackles with 5 QB sacks. You know his foot work is good as he is also a member of the basketball team. Kevin Wilkerson 6-0 230 Merrillville # 50 Your proverbial tweener. Is he big enough for DE , is he quick enough for LB. Yes to both. Kevin is a strong players who has a great nose for the football. Last season he had 56 tackles including 13 for loss after having 55 tackles as a sophomore. Anthony Winbush DE 6-3 230 Warren Central # 96 Anthony has had to wait his turn playing behind four D1 recruits who started in front of him last season. In limited time Anthony had 17 tackles. He was a big time force on special teams showing his closing speed on kickoff coverage. Should have a HUGE year for the Warriors. VERBAL to BALL STATE Linebackers Shaquille Ash LB 5-10 205 Columbus East # 10 The hardest hitter in the state bar none. Shaquille looks like he plays with a anger streak second to none. Some may claim he is too small for linebacker or not quick enough to play safety. Don’t believe either one. Just put him on the field. On tape was incredible on kick coverage. It goes without saying he has a quick step and great recognition skills at linebacker. Ross is the leader of the defense from his MLB positions. Ross has great recognition skills and gets sideline to sideline as well as anyone. Last season he had 130 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 4 sacks for the Knights. Lee Davis LB TH North 6-0 210 Austin Day LB 6-1 195 Decatur Central # 45 Plays along side another talented LB in Jordan Jackson. Watching film # 45 also stands out. He plays both ILB and OLB and shows great body control and ability to get from sideline to sideline in a hurry. Rob Dury LB 6-2 215 Chatard Helped lead Chatard to back to back titles. A true hitting machine form his middle linebacker position. Is very fundamentally sound. Has surprising quickness to cover receivers and go sideline to sideline chasing down ball carriers. From along line of talented family members. His brother Mike was starting QB at Chatard and played baseball at Notre Dame. He has a quick first step and is excellent in pursuit. Last season Jordan had 67 tackles including 15 for loss. For good measure he is also a standout at running back where he rushed for 448 yards on 75 carries and 8 touchdowns. Owns a 3.2 GPA Michael Johnson OLB 6-3 225 Evansville North # 1 A big time sleeper in Evansville. Michael will be a four year starter for North. On offense he has played both running back and receiver. His real talent though is hitting people on defense. Michael shows great ability to get to the quarterback with his elite quickness. Would probably be best suited as a stand up end in a 3-4 defense. He also plays basketball and his dad played at Indiana State. John Kenny LB Carmel 6-1 205 # 47 The more tape I watched the more impressed I was on this young mans potential. Played with three D1 recruits last season in DL Langston Newton (Kentucky), DE Shawn Heffern (Indiana) and S Jimmy Herman (Purdue). Played OLB last season though I believe he could also play ILB. Plays with a sense of anger of the edge. Gets sideline to sideline. A winner who I would want on my team. VERBAL to IOWA Tim Kimbrough LB 6-1 215 Warren Central # 42 The leader of the Warrior defense that featured eight seniors who are headed to D1 football. Kimbrough is a hitting machine, who has great anticipation and explosiveness. His footwork is good enough to play either inside or outside linebacker. I personally think he is a stud inside linebacker at the next level. Recorded a astonishing 176 tackles including 27 for loss along with 7.5 sacks as a junior. Has several national offers from Purdue, Indiana, North Carolina, Cincinnati and Minnesota. Also seems to love Ohio State. Is a top national recruit. VERBAL to GEORGIA Chris Osborne LB 6-3 205 Mississenewa Rob Peck LB 6-1 198 Fishers A solid player as a sophomore on Rick Wimmer’s 2010 state champion as a sophomore. Had 74 tackles including 5 for loss ILB as a junior. IFCA Junior All state selection. Took his play to the next level as he was dominate on tape. Has great recognitions skills and is great at the point of attack. Reid Rohrbacher LB 6-3 200 Leo # 33 Reid helped lead the Lions to a great season. As the leader of the defense Reid shows a quick step and great sideline to sideline pursuit in chasing down backs. He is a sprinter on the track team. Last season he had 94 tackles including 7 for loss. His dad played at Ball State. Mason Schnarr LB 6-1 215 Evansville Reitz # 33 Will be three year starter at inside linebacker for the Panthers. Is a rock solid LB who has a quick first step and is great at making quick reads to opposing ball carriers. Had 63 tackles as a sophomore and followed that up with 96 as a junior. Quinton Skibinski LB 6-2 208 West Lafayette # 68 An extremely tough a physical linebacker who just simply put makes plays everywhere. Had 98 tackles including 11 for loss and 5 sacks. Also starts at guard on the offensive line. Matt Smallbone LB6-5 200 SB St Joes # 5 Really athletic linebacker who right now just runs all over the field making plays. Helped lead the Indians to a state runner up finish. On film Matt is quick to the ball with excellent pursuit of the football. Once he puts on weight will be ideal OLB. Comes from athletic family as sister Sydney played basketball at Tennessee and dad played football at Central Michigan.Matt has 215 career tackles including 83 last season with 9 for loss. VERBAL to MIAMI (OH) Jaylon Smith LB 6-3 210 FW Luers #9 Brother of former Harding standout Roderick Smith, now at Ohio State. Like his brother Jaylon has put up great stats as the Luers feature back. Has led Luers to back state titles. Jaylons real future will probably be on the defensive side of the ball. He is a standout OLB he is constantly around the football and in the backfield. Is also a standout on the Knights state ranked basketball team. Rushed for 1319 yards on 148 carries and also had 17 receptions on offense while on defense he had 70 tackles and 8 sacks for the Knight s as a junior. Likes Ohio State (who he has an offer from). Also has offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee, Michigan and virtually the rest of the Big ten. VERBAL to NOTRE DAME Cody Starnes LB 6-3 215 Whiteland # 15 Payton Stonefield LB 6-3 201 East Central #7 A solid outside linebacker playing at East Central. The film I watched he picked off a pass from the nations top QB in Gunner Kiel. Shows a great point of attack when coming up to opposing ball carriers. Has speed enough to excel in man coverage. Also a standout basketball player and carries a 3.5 GPA. Matt Van Hoosen LB 6-3 196 Fishers # 49 Tre Williams LB/RB 6-0 210 Heritage Hills # 33 A stud playing for Jay Cutlers high school. Tre is a bone crushing MLB and hard charging RB for the Patriots. On defense he shows a great first step and gets to the football in a hurry. Had 150 tackles last season as well as 30 carries for 216 yards on offense. Defensive Backs Kalan Adams DB 5-10 180 FW Northrop Antonio Allen DB 6-1 190 Ben Davis # 40 From The West Side of Indianapolis top powerhouse in Ben Davis. Helped lead the Giants resurgness this past season. A natural at free safety who can get deep coverage, lock you up man to man or come up hard on run support. Antonio compiled 72 tackles with 42 assists and 1 interception. Has a long time offer from Iowa while Indiana, Kentucky and Purdue have now joined the Hawkeyes in offering this big time free safety from Indy. Jamaal Bridges S 6-2 210 Warren Central # 26 Played both outside linebacker and safety for a defense that had seven D1 recruits last season. Bridges is also a top D1 prospect in his own right. Last season he had 36 solo tackles and showed a real toughness for attacking runners. As a safety shows an ability to fill the lane in a hurry and lay down a thunderous hit. Jamaal is also a candidate to get some carries on offense as a running back this season. Austin Brown DB6-1 195 Griffith # 15 A wishbone quarterback on offense and free safety on defense. Ausin is very talented in running the option attack where he rushed for 1197 yards and passed for another 634 yards. His future though may lie on defense where he has started for 3 years at free safety. Austin is also the Panthers punter and is also on the basketball and track teams. Kevin Brown S Pike 5-10 190 # 19 Is a very talented athlete who last season played an outside linebacker/safety hybrid spot. Kevin is extremely physical with a great first step and is very fluid in coverage. Showed great cover skills playing week in and week out against the state top programs I see him as a great safety at the next level Darrell Hogue DB 5-11 190 North Central # 42 Garrett Isch DB 6-0 195 Brownsburg # 22 A very physical DB who plays both corner and safety. Garrett has good cover skills but seems like a better collegiate fit as a running down hill safety. Had 45 tackles and 1 interception last season. Garrett is also a pitcher on the Bulldogs baseball team. Tyvell Jemison DB 5-10 185 FW Luers # 1 A jack of all trades for the Knights. Tyvell excels on defense a strong safety, on offense as running back/receiver and is a very skilled kick returner as well. He has great speed which he just flat uses to make plays all over the field. On defense, where accumulated 70 tackles and 4 interceptions he shows a passion for filling the alley and taking on backs. Offensively he caught 11 passes for 261 yards. Race Johnson CB 5-10 170 Carmel # 46 One of if not the best pure cover corner in the state. Race is more physical than most safeties. Had 75 tackles 3 interceptions and 3 sacks playing for state champion Carmel. Is an honor roll student and also a member of the LaCrosse team. Aaron Killebrew WR/QB/DB 5-10 162 Evansville Harrison # 7 Speedster who may be the fastest player in the state. The film I watched had him mostly playing Wildcat QB and just taking off. He seems very slippery when tacklers attempt to bring him down. Last season he had 44 receptions for 592 yards and 5 interceptions to go with 31 tackles on defense. In his sophomore year he had 55 receptions for 587 yards and 8 tds and 42 tackles and 4 interceptions on defense. His best football in college could be as a cover corner. Joey Miller RB/DB 5-8 165 Pioneer Tre Moore CB 5-10 170 Warren Central # 41 Pure cover corner who had a breakthrough junior season for the Warriors. On film he shows great body control in coverage and has a burst to attack opposing ball carriers. Tre had 30 tackles last season. The talented safety helped lead Cathedral to yet another state title. He had 66 tackles including 11 for loss and 4 interceptions for the Irish. A natural safety at the next level would also excel on special teams. Stu who ia a high honor roll student was recently offered by Ball State. VERBAL to BALL STATE Chris Thompson DB 6-2 175 Gary West Side # 27 Long lanky FS prospect who always seems to be around the ball. Did a great job as the lone safety in the cover 3 look. Chris does a great job of coming the alley and putting a lick on opposing ballacarriers. Brian Wichman DB 5-11 155 Columbus East # 16 A highly productive free safety playing with last seasons top recruit in state in Gunner Kiel. A FS he shows great range and an ability to fill the lane vs the run. Last season he had 82 tackles and 5 interceptions. Brian is also a standout baseball player.
