Each game, a player is chosen from one team and is presented with a trophy bat to commemorate their accomplishment. |

Andrean vs Morton: Hoosier Bat Railcats HS Baseball Challenge Player of the Game: Andrean Pitcher Jimmy Skiff closed his second game of the year vs Hammond Morton at The US Steelyard, in a 2-0 victory. He closed out a no-hitter earlier for Matt Desomer vs Hebron, 6-0. Andrean is now 4-0 and has outscored its opponents 30-0 in its first 4 games. Munster vs. Valpo: Alex Bales was 3-4 with 3 RBI and a run scored in Valpo's season opening win against Munster. Chicago Christian vs. Guerin Prep: Pitcher Josh Novak of Chicago Christian shut out the Guerin Prep Gators 7-0 in the Railcats Challenge. Lake Central vs. Crown Point: Crown Point Pitcher Ronnie Plesac defeated Lake Central 4-1 in DAC Baseball at Crown Point. Zach Plesac was awarded the Save. TF South vs. TF North: TF South Rebel Adam Jamka was 2-3 with 4 rbi in a 7-2 win over TF North at The US Steelyard. It was the Rebels 5th win on the season. Hammond Academy vs. Westville: Hammond Academy Hawks Pitcher Cody Glass went the distance with 8 strikeouts in a 5-3 win over Westville at The US Steelyard. Kanakee Valley vs Bowman Academy: Kankakee Valley's Matt Berdine was 1-2 with 2 stolen bases and 2 rbi. He also pitched the first 2 inning issuing 5 k's. Bishop Noll vs Lowell: Chad Mateja of Bishop Noll was our Hoosier Bat player for the game. He pitched well, with 5 IP 2 H 7 K 3 BB. West Side vs Gavit: Gary West Side's Paco Jordan had the game tying hit in the 7th inning, in an 11-10 victory over Hammond Gavit at The US Steelyard. River Forest vs Edison: River Forest Ingots Pitcher Chris Lauderback went the distance in a 4-1 victory over the Lake Station Edison Eagles at The US Steelyard. This is the 2nd time Lauderback has defeated the Eagles at The US Steelyard in his career. Lew Wallace vs. Roosevelt: Gary Lew Wallace's Quentin Harris had a run scoring double and pitched the last two innings in a 15-1 win over Gary Roosevelt at The US Steelyard. Boone Grove vs. Michigan City: Boone Grove's DH Casey Grubb had 2 hits, was 2-3, and scored 2 runs in a 5-3 victory over Michigan City at The US Steelyard. Chesterton vs Griffith: Chesterton's First Baseman Aery Pratt was 2 for 4 with 2 rbi in a 7-1 win over Griffith at The US Steelyard.
