| For every game this season, Mid America Broadcasting will be naming our "Big Time Jerseys Big Time Play of the Game." This will mark the most important play of the game. It could be a game clincher, a play that changes the momentum of the game or simply something exciting in the game. While every game has more than one of these types of play, we will choose only one and post them here after announcing it on the broadcast! |
| Football Week 1 - Lowell @ Crown Point: Jake Jatis to Zach Plesac TD pass in 4th Qt to seal 28-21 win over Lowell in The Battle of The Leather Helmet Week 1 - Griffith @ Morton: Austin Brown scored on the first play from scrimmage with a 72 yard TD run to open the season for the Panthers. Week 2 - Morton @ Lowell: Lowell scores a TD vs Morton as the Morton D walks off the field thinking it was the End of the Quarter. Week 2 - Andrean @ Merrillville: Ryan Neal recovered a fumble of a kickoff to set the stage for a Merrillville scoring drive that took the lead for good for the Pirates. Week 3 - Crown Point @ Merrillville: Raspopovich 80 yd td run for Merrillville in 40-12 win over Crown Point. Week 3 - Griffith @ Hobart: Elijah Walker returns the opening kickoff for a touch down giving Hobart the early lead an the momentum. Griffith never lead in the game. Week 4 - Hobart @ Kankakee Valley: Anthony Burgos Punt Return TD in the 4th Quarter to bring Hobart back only to fall 27-21 to KV. Week 4 - Lowell @ Griffith: XXX Passed to XXX for the 2 point conversion and the win for Lowell over Griffth in double overtime. Week 5 - Portage @ Crown Point: Portage late hit penalty that gave Crown Point 25 yards and then put them up three tds at Half 28-7 going on to win 42-7 Week 5- Andrean @ Hobart: Elijah Walker returns return a kick off 88 yards to open the second half and put the Brickies up 24-21 Week 6 - Boone Grove @ East Chicago Central: Larunte Fairley catches a 73 yard touchdown pass from Carols Fernandez in the second quarter. Week 6 - Hobart @ Lowell: Hobart's Soph Zach Satterfield ran back a kickoff late in the game to the opponents 38 to set up a Del Grosso 27 yd FG to win the game for the Bricks 20-10 over Lowell. Week 8 - QB Chris Katsafaros scores a 4th Qt TD to put Chesterton up 28-14, they went on to win 28-21 over Crown Point. |
